Eric's All American Ice Cream Factory came to life in March of 1999. We began at a little store located on Baltimore Road in Defiance, Ohio. Through 1999 we began experimenting with different recipes and developed that famous Eric's Ice Cream flavor that is so loved. As business grew, we were quickly running out of room for customers...as in, the store was so busy that you couldn't even pull into the parking lot! So we began looking for a location to operate a second Eric's, and so it happened. In 2004, Eric's All American Ice Cream Factory opened for business on East Second Street in Defiance. The store was an instant success and made it possible for us to serve all those wanting to visit Eric's, since we could serve them on both ends of town now. Expansion made it's way to Bryan, Ohio in 2008 as Eric's opened for business on Center Street in June of that year. The Bryan, Ohio store boasts the new look of Eric's All American Ice Cream Factory as all the stores will see soon.

A tragedy struck in the fall of 2008 as our original ice cream store on Baltimore Road burned down in November. It was always a fantastic store for the 10 seasons we ran there. The wonderful summers and memories will never be forgotten. We've chosen a new site to build our replacement store that is located on the corner of Sunday Street and South Clinton Street, directly across from Chief Supermarket. Plans to open the new establishment are set for May 2009.

As we continue to grow, the story too will continue. We've earned many faithful fans over the years with more coming each and every season and have won the rights to the areas "Best Ice Cream" two consecutive years, by a consumers poll. It's exciting each and every season to see our friendly customers and their families coming to Eric's.
